Overview
American Nurses Association-Michigan (ANA-Michigan) invite Michigan nurses and nursing students to participate in the 2019 ANA-Michigan Conference and Annual Meeting. This year’s event with exhibitors will take place Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the GVSU L.V. Eberhard Center in Grand Rapids, MI.  Creativity and Innovation in Nursing is the theme for this year’s event. Our landscape around us is continually changing as well as scope of practice. Creativity and innovation many times go hand in hand. As nurses, we are open to change and want to be in the know of innovative and progressive practices as it applies to the care of our patients and colleagues. This meetings mission is to strive to focus on embracing the evolving role of the nurse while harnessing the foundations of nursing practice. Topics of cannabis, gun violence, artificial intelligence and climate change are a few of the topics we will showcase with presenters who are in the cutting edge of their field.

Demographics of Those Who Attend
This creative and innovative conference is designed to support all nurses.  The purpose of the conference is to strive to focus on embracing the evolving role of the nurse while harnessing the foundations of nursing practice.
